Carmen Santorelli Photography captured this sweet gender-neutral baby shower at a tea house in Long Island. I love all the DIY details and decorations!
I decided to choose Chat Noir tea house because it is a very quaint venue, perfect for a lady gathering. Something about a tea party seems so civilized and girlie, which I thought would be perfect for a baby shower with my friends and family. Since our theme for the nursery is Giraffes and Lambs (neutral tones because we are not finding out the gender of the baby), my mom found neutral fabric with giraffes and made table runners with that fabric. It came out really cute. The tea house had such amazing dishes and cups, we didn’t have to do much there. My sister-in-law made a baby centerpiece that held the pens used for the baby bingo game and measuring my belly game. The event was so wonderful. ~ Mom-to-be

Violetflowers - You’ve done a beautiful job with this shower. I like the idea you had with the table runner. The the giraffes and sheep were also gender neutral, something that is a little hard to figure out these days. People use monkeys for boys and bears for boys, but when decorating for the shower and you don’t know the sex of the baby yet, everyone seems to end up with the ducky theme. Kudos to you for doing something different.
Belkis - so beautiful!, love the details!
