A year ago, mom and dad Michelle and Evan moved from the East Coast to Santa Monica. With their friends and family so far away, they wanted to share images of their first child at Palisades Park. Michelle went all out and purchased adorable handmade knitted hats from Etsy sellers in preparation for the session. When Brooke Merrill Photography arrived on the day of the shoot, she was greeted by the family’s house guest, a cute little pup named Mosby. Isla wasn’t up for a day in the park, so they decided to shoot at home in Isla’s beautiful owl-themed nursery instead!
