Erin and Jesse are awaiting the birth of their first child, a baby girl named Kentley Marie. Londyn’s Lace Photography (Erin’s best friend) captured their beautiful summertime maternity session. Despite a devastating past miscarriage, Erin kept her faith that she was meant to be a mother – here is her inspiring story.
On March 4, 2011, I miscarried at 8 weeks. I immediately started trying again. In September 2012 I was referred to and visited an OBGYN. He told me to chart my body basal temperature. I sent him the results in January 2012. He called me on Tuesday January 24th to tell me I had a defective luteal phase and couldn’t get pregnant without medication. He said it would be a long road with multiple miscarriages. In the conversation, he mentioned ‘If you were pregnant, we’d know it by now’. When I got home that evening I thought ‘I will test one more time’. It came up positive. ~ Erin
